Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2006 @ 7:56 am i do not want to go to work. With that said, I was reading Tiny Mix Tapes a few minutes ago & am now giddy. I knew that Tilly & the Wall (read: my favoritest band of stomping, wailing gypsy fun) were releasing a new album soon, but now I have a date for it ... May 23. Mmmmm. That's news worth waking up for. Even after my first double shift in two weeks. I forgot for a second (well two weeks, actually) exactly how much my feet despise my 60 hour work weeks. My wallet however worships them ... as do my music & Guinness habits, so they'll be sticking around for a while yet. Other great things are the beginning of concert season & so already we've befriended Ticketmaster & are going to punish our eardrums in a hearty way. March 23 ... Franz Ferdinand / Death Cab for Cutie; March 25 ... Beth Orton; March 27 ... Rhett Miller.
